We are Joma and Iris, the heart and soul behind Apyrita—our market cuisine and wine-focused restaurant in the heart of Alicante.
As Head Chef, Joma brings his creativity and passion for gastronomy to every single creation. His cuisine pairs fresh, seasonal produce from Alicante’s Central Market with premium ingredients to craft surprising, signature dishes. His Turmalina Tasting Menu represents the ultimate expression of your dining experience in Alicante: a fine-dining Mediterranean journey designed to delight all the senses.
Iris, Maître d' and Sommelier, welcomes our guests and guides them through harmonious wine pairings. Her thoughtfully curated wine list is a living collection featuring local gems from the DO Alicante, standout national and international labels, boutique artisan wines, and an exceptional array of fortified and sweet wines by the glass—tailored to surprise anyone looking for a unique tasting and pairing experience.
We are deeply passionate about hospitality and want you to feel right at home. We gladly accommodate allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences across our dishes and tasting menus.
